“Two paradises on earth”: the exhibition of the paintings of the late Greek artist Makis Warlamis opened in our Forum Da Vinci in Luxembourg. The exhibition remains open until October 20. The vernissage brought together Luxembourg’s Greek community, who listened attentively to speeches by Erna Hennicot Schoepges (Honorary Minister of Culture), Pavlos Trochopoulos (Experimental Workshop of Vergina) and Michele Friederici (President of the OAI – Ordre des Architectes et des Ingénieurs-Conseils). The collection on display links Santorini’s rock-solid buildings to Luxembourg’s old town.
“I projected the city of Luxembourg onto different continents and countries, Luxembourg in Africa, Luxembourg in Latin America, Luxembourg in Asia and in Greece… The city now appears in good mood and tanned, full of cheerfulness and sparkling ideas”, the artist said in 2014
