Doctoral Programme in Engineering Sciences Research Day 2023 

Dear Madam, dear Sir,

The Doctoral Programme in Engineering Sciences (DPES) will hold its second Research Day on November 24, 2023. Our doctoral candidates will present their research projects in the form of posters. You are invited to exchange with them on their research topics and vote for the best poster.  If you are already curious about the new research in engineering, you will find in attachment all Ph.D. abstracts.   You are cordially invited to join us. For organizational reasons, please let us know as soon as possible if you can participate in this day and don’t hesitate to forward this invitation also to your colleagues.


  • 10:00-15:00: Poster sessions for researchers, students, supervisors and jury members
  • 15:00-17:00: Welcome to external guests from industry and other collaborators
  • 17:15-17:30: Opening of Evening Ceremony with Awards by Prof. Dr Norman Teferle, DPES Coordinator 
  • 17:30-17:45: Talk by Dr. Anne-Marie Solvi, CEO Paul Wurth Geprolux, S.A.
  • 17:45-18:00: Talk by Dr. Ralf Useldinger, Director R&D Ceratizit, S.A, Head of the Industrial Board – Department of Engineering
  • 18:00-19:00: Fireside panel moderated by Dr. Shini Somara (Mechanical engineer, Media broadcaster, Producer and Author)
  • 19:00-20:30: Buffet and drinks
